Therèse Cigna
Born on the 6th of January 1961 at Saint Chamond, Therese Cigna completed her graphic arts studies and started work as an editor at Le Dauphiné Libéré – Progrès (newspaper)
She spent most of her leisure time on writing, drawing and on graphic designs.
On taking part in a book and art painting exhibition, she seems to have discovered the real “discipline” where to express her artistic passion – a new type of Art that became her speciality.
Urged on by her newfound aspirations, she used unconventional materials like x-ray negative films to express her talent. All influenced by “La Cabale » graphics inspired by a mixture of Chinese, Hebraic and Koranic origins. She invites her audience to her of inspiration or dreams. She calls it “Art Extrême ” She was awarded the first Prize at the Salon des Artistes in 2012. It is an Art that needs to be discovered.
