ABOUT THE ARTIST…
Christina Oiticica is an acclaimed Brazilian artist, known for the way she allows nature and the elements to act on her artworks. Oiticica buries her works, that often contain allegoric images and mystical symbolisms, in the soil in spiritually important and sacred locations, such as the St. James’ Path and Assisi. She leaves her works buried to let nature do its work and returns 9-12 months later to retrieve them. Her works have been exposed all over the world. Oiticica is the designer of the logo that was adopted by her husband, the writer Paulo Coelho, to become the symbol of the Warrior of Light.
Em algumas telas feitas por Christina foram inseridas frases por Paulo Coelho e sobrepostas com intervencao final do Romero Britto
